PURPOSE:To provide the electronic musical instrument with the display device which can adds visual expression of high level in addition to the generation of a musical sound. CONSTITUTION:A circle Rn having center coordinates (Pn, 32) and a radius EnX8 is drawn on a screen consisting of, for example, 63X63 dots. The (x) axis corresponds to scale information; and 'n=1, 2, 3, 4', '0<=Pn<=63', and 'Pn=C1-D6#'. Here, En is an envelope value of each channel and '0<=En<=1'. The respective bits of a 64X64-bit video RAM are made to correspond to the respective dots of the screen; and '1' (bright display) is set for bits in the circle Rn among all the bits (0, 0)-(63, 63) and '0' (dark display) is set for dots outside the circle for each sound generating process of each channel. Those data are set in an LCD driver in order to control an LCD. |
