The gas boiler including a controller (10), a burner (20), a water tank (30) and het exchanger (40) is controlled by microprocessor (10'). If the selective switch on the summer/winter mode were switched to the summer mode in the state of inputting the power source voltage to the gas boiler, the water feeding of the three-way valve maintains until the selective switch is converted to the wintermode. If the selective switch were switched to the winter mode, the heating delay time is prevented by converting the water feeding state into the heating system direction. This method is useful for enhancing the reliability of boiler.
