PURPOSE:To reduce the electrostatic attraction of a toner to a photosensitive drum, to facilitate the separation of the toner from the drum at the time of transfer and to increase transfer efficiency by sticking a slightly chargeable lubricant to the surfaces of the toner particles contg. a thermoplastic resin and magnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:Fine powder of a slightly chargeable lubricant such as zinc stearate or a metallic salt of stearic acid amide is stuck to the surfaces of toner particles contg. a fixing resin and magnetic powder. The amt. of the lubricant used is regulated to 0.1-3 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the toner particles. The toner particles are composed of various materials used for the conventional magnetic toner and the fixing resin is properly selected in accordance with a fixing system adopted. The resulting magnetic toner is easily separated from a photosensitive drum at the time of transfer and transfer efficiency can be increased. |
