1182-3 In order to provide a sufficient isolation between the resonators of a band-stop filter, prior art band-stop filters must be manufactured from separate ceramic resonator blocks. According to the invention the band-stop filter can be manufactured in a single ceramic block (1), having on one side surface strip-like areas (14; 15) of electrically conducting material extending perpendicularly from the bottom edge to the top edge and being located in the area between the resonators (A and B, B and C) and having dimensions selected so that they substantially cancel the electric and magnetic field between the resonators. If necessary, the coupling between the resonators can be adjusted by changing the width of the strip-like areas (14; 15) or by providing them with discontinuities.
