PURPOSE:To perform transfer high-voltage control through software, to simplify circuit constitution and a sequence, and to realize stable transfer high-voltage control by providing a means which detects the output current at the time of transfer high-voltage output. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a voltage control means which performs voltage control over a transfer means and an output current detecting means which detects the output current value at the time of the voltage control by the voltage control means. Further, the device is provided with a decision means which judges whether or not the output current values reaches a desired value, a voltage increasing means which increases the output voltage by the voltage control means from the specific value, and an output voltage holding means which holds the output value corresponding to the desired output current value obtained by the decision means. Furthermore, the device is provided with a processing means which repeats the operation by the voltage increasing means, output current decision means, and output voltage holding means for a specific time or a specific number of times and determines an output voltage to be supplied to a transfer material according to the held output voltage. Thus, a stable transfer high-voltage output is obtained. |
