PURPOSE:To provide an input device for the language of Myanmar in which the number of keying times is small, the number of input keys is small and which is satisfactory in operation conveience. CONSTITUTION:The syllable of the language of Myanmar is divided into a consonant connection part being an initial consonant or the combination of a medial consonant (y) and the initial consonant, and a vowel connection part being the combination of a vowel and a sound tone or the combination of a medial consonant (w), the vowel and the sound tone (including a case when final consonants are respectively added). Syllable input keys corresponding to respective parts are provided. Thus, all the syllables of the language of Myanmar can be inputted by keying twice. Plural syllable input keys to which the consonant connection part and the vowel connection part are allocated are provided. The mode is switched at every keying of the syllanble input keys so as to reduce the syllable keys. |
