PURPOSE:To provide a processing mode to record an image on an OHP sheet and thick paper, etc., without generating the increment of a production cost or making a device into a large scale in a color image forming device of so- called tandem type equipped with visual image forming units of four colors. CONSTITUTION:In the color image forming device comprised of the visual image forming units 2 of four colors which form visual images corresponding to image information and transfer formed visual images on a recording sheet, a sheet carrier means 1 which carries the recording sheet 5 along a prescribed route where those visual image forming units 2 are arranged, and a fixing device 4 arranged at the termination of the carrier route of the recording sheet and which fixes the visual image multiplex-transferred on the recording sheet 5, the visual image is formed only by the visual image forming units 2 of first and third colors, and also, an operating mode which decelerates recording sheet carrying speed after the recording sheet 5 passes the visual image forming unit of third color is provided. |
