<p>PURPOSE:To provide the strip inspecting apparatus in hot rolling equipment capable of moving an apron in a simple structure without applying an impact to a strip inspecting camera. CONSTITUTION:The damage of inspection cameras 5a, 5b can be prevented by the simple moving apparatus in an inspection apparatus wherein an apron 7 between rolls and inspection cameras 5a, 5b are mounted on moving rails 12, 13 as devices inspecting the rear of the strip 3 under a hot rolling run table and means mutually separating them are provided. A control apparatus mutually separating the apron 7 and the inspection apparatus when the leading end of the strip 3 passes on the apron 7 and automatically performing the operation scanning the surface of the strip by the inspection apparatus at other time is provided to facilitate automation.</p> |
