PURPOSE:To prevent a light source from becoming short of light quantity in an image processing device in which an image reading part equipped with the light source whose light quantity is varied by ambient temperature is pro vided. CONSTITUTION:An air duct 23 through which the air heated by a heat fixing roller 10 is passed to a easing 21 in which a fluorescent lamp 15 is arranged is provided between the exit side of a ventilating fan 11 and one terminal part of the casing 21. The ventilating fan 11 is operated, and the air inputted from an air intake 19 to a housing 7 cools the heat fixing roller 10, and part of it is inputted to the easing 21 passing through the air duct 23, which increases the ambient temperature of the fluorescent lamp 15. The heat fixing roller 10 is always heated, therefore, the periphery of the fluorescent lamp 15 can be kept at appropriate temperature, which prevents the light source from coming short of light quantity due to low temperature. |
