<p>PURPOSE:To provide a manufacturing method of an NTC thermistor having very small irregularity in electric characteristics. CONSTITUTION:First, a thermistor material powder of 0.8mum in average particle diameter, consisting of the prescribed metal oxide, is prepared, granulated powder is obtained by mixing a binder with the above-mentioned thermistor material powder, it is molded by performing a dry type pressing method, and a disc-like molded body of 5mm in diameter, 1mm in thickness and 3.5g/cm<2> in moldomg density is obtained. After the molded body obtained as above has been sintered at the temperature lower than the temperature, at which crystal phase is phase- separated, higher than the temperature at which sintered density is saturated, an outer electrode is formed on both edges of the obtained oxide thermistor element.</p> |
