PURPOSE:To provide a superconducting electric current lead which is excellent in terms of mechanical strength and environmental resistance and capable of reducing the amount of evaporation of liquid He. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of an oxide superconductor-made molding main body, which serves as an electric connecting section, are coated with a metal cap 2 or the like. The remaining central part is coated with an extremely low resistant resin material 3 so as to reinforce the oxide superconductor formation molding member 1 and enhance the environmental resistance. The extremely low temperature resistant resin material 3 coated in the central part of the aforesaid molding member 1 has a low thermal conductivity, which reduces the inflow of the outside heat in the liquid He and minimizes the amount of evaporation of the liquid He. |
