<p>PURPOSE:To automatically turn off the power supply of every client machine by only issuing a power-off request to every client machine from the server machine of a working station constituting a network system. CONSTITUTION:The server machine 3 on an LAN 1 is provided with a power-off requesting mechanism 31 to issue a power-off request command addressed to every client machine 2 in order to turn off concentrically the power supply of every client machine 2 on the same LAN 1. When the MPU 20 of every client machine 2 receives the power-off request command issued from the power- off requesting mechanism 31 of the server machine 3, it executes operation conforming to a power-off control program 23, and first of all, it executes the interruption of program during operation and file saving, etc., and thereafter, it turns off the power supply of the power unit 27 of its own machine through a power-off control line 29.</p> |
