The present invention relates to a process for predistorting a video scene formed by polygons, in a projection space (PS) for projection into a viewing space (VS), consisting in: forming a rectangular grid so as to divide the frame VS into a matrix of cells (34-rc); placing a diagonal line (36) between opposite corners of each grid cell VS; determining an ordered set of all the points for which each side of a polygon cuts any one of the grid lines and of the diagonal lines; projecting each point VS back into the projection space PS; creating lines joining each pair of projected points PS corresponding to a pair of points VS joined by a polygon side under intersection; and matching the texture factors in each zone PS thus formed to factors in the corresponding zone VS. <IMAGE>
