The invention relates to a hydraulically controlled clutch release bearing which includes a thrust bearing (21) mounted on a thrust bearing support (22) which is located on the gearbox housing (3), the thrust bearing (21) being capable of moving axially over the thrust bearing support (22) by being operated by hydraulic means. The hydraulic means include at least two axial thrust cylinders which are connected to a feed module (40), the thrust cylinders being set out on the thrust bearing support (22) so that they act directly on the clutch bearing (21). A preload system is located between the thrust bearing support (22) and the thrust bearing (21) so that it can act axially in the same direction as the hydraulic means.
