The invention relates to a device for guiding a piece with rectilinear displacement subjected to traction perpendicular to its displacement. This guide device is characterised in that it includes means (38, 50, 51) exerting, on the piece (2) with rectilinear displacement, a lateral thrust F1 in the opposite direction to the perpendicular traction direction F2 conferred on the piece (2) with rectilinear displacement.
