PURPOSE: To view a space larger than a viewer's own visual field within a prescribed time without moving a head by viewing the range with more than a solid angle 2πof the viewer in the viewers visual field. CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a means 12 which simultaneously senses or detects a solid angle in which the surrounding of, for example, an automobile is more than 2π, and the means 12 includes plural sensors. Also, this system is provided with a means 20 which forms the 3D computer display of the space of the solid angle, and a means 22 which observes the space of the solid angle in the visual field of a viewer. Also, the means 22 preferably includes a means 32 which expresses an image ball on an observed surface as a map. A signal from the sensor corresponding to the space in the solid angle includes the image of the visual field with the solid angle in which the surrounding of the automobile is about 2πby a computer arranged in the automobile, and expressed on a screen arranged on a windshield as the map. Thus, a driver can continue to drive while observing the image on the screen. |
