The hanger bracket 13 of a sliding door is adjusted on the door body 10 by a lever 24 having a head portion 23, Fig. 7 provided with teeth 26 and pivoting about an axis 25 spaced from the axis 17 of the door supporting roller 16, the teeth 26 meshing with teeth 22 on the side of the slot 21 in the hanger bracket. The side of the head 23, opposite the teeth is circular, contacting the adjacent side of the slot and is of synthetic resinous composition. The bracket 13 is secured to the door by binding screws 20 passing through openings 18, 19 in the bracket and by a binding screw 25 passing through the axis of the head 23. The end of the lever opposite the head 23 is formed with a boss 27 to have sliding bearing engagement along the surface of the door. |
