The deinking agent according to the invention contains at least one additive chosen from (a) additives manufactured by adding one or more alkylene oxides to at least one ingredient chosen from dimeric acids and polymeric acids of C16-C20 higher unsaturated fatty acids, (b) additives manufactured by adding one or more alkylene oxides to at least one ingredient chosen from the partial esters of a C1-C18 alcohol and of dimeric acids and polymeric acids of C16-C20 higher unsaturated fatty acids, (c) additives manufactured by adding one or more alkylene oxides to one or more ingredients chosen from the dicarboxylic acids or the monoesters of dicarboxylic acids denoted by the following formula I <IMAGE> in which either of the residues X is a COOH group and the other residue X is H or CH3; Y is H or a C1-C18 alkyl group.
