This sachet, intended for packaging primary packaging products or other products, has an external envelope formed from two pieces of material cut out and disposed flatly one upon the other, at least one of the pieces of cut-out material being permeable to steam for the steam sterilisation of the product to he packaged which is in the sachet. The piece of cut-out material (3) allowing steam to pass through consists principally of textile fibres made from high pressure polyethylene (non-woven textile fibre) bonded together by the effect of pressure and heat; it can be assembled in a fluid-tight manner with the other piece of cut-out material (4) which consists principally of low pressure polyethylene. This sachet is particularly adapted for packaging large quantities of products to be steam sterilised. <IMAGE>
