PURPOSE:To provide a sole body manufactured more simply compared with the conventionally manufactured one and substantially lightened with the excellent durability by a method wherein a raw rubber member and a bridging sponge member are piled in a metal mold and heated and cooled. CONSTITUTION:A raw rubber member including a bridging agent and a sponge member already bridged are piled partially in a molding metal mold, heated with in a temperature range from 115 to 150 deg.C for 3-5 minutes and then cooled to mold. After the completion of the molding, the thickness of the rubber made part 1 obtained by the deformation of the raw rubber member is compressed to about 20-40% and compressed sponge-made part 5 obtained by the deformation of the sponge member is compressed to about 30-50% to increase the density. A sole body B of the integral structure is formed of the rubber-made part 1 occupying the whole or main part of the bottom surface S and the compressed sponge-made part 5 occupying the other part and the upper layer of the rubber made part 1. Thus, a cheap sole excellent in the durability and capable of being lightened and simply manufactured can be provided. |
