PURPOSE:To properly sample and hold signals and to automatically adjust an always accurate output level by this image reader. CONSTITUTION:The image reader for adjusting an output level based upon reflected light from a white reference member arranged on the outside of an effective reading range of an original within the lighting range of an original mounting board is provided with plural adjusting means, e.g digital switches 101, 102 counters 103, 104 and a flip flop 105, for adjusting the phase and width (time) of timing for sampling and holding an output from said white reference member. |
