An apparatus for feed-in and ejection of a chemical analysis slide comprises an incubator having compartments for housing chemical analysis slides placed side by side in a transverse direction. The compartments have inlet openings formed along a rear end face of the incubator, and outlet opening formed along a front end face thereof. A conveying device conveys the chemical analysis slide to a position facing one of the inlet openings, and a slide feed-in device, provided with slide feed-in protrusions facing the inlet openings, extends along the rear end face of the incubator. One of the slide feed-in protrusions is caused by forward movement of the slide feed-in device, to contact a rear edge of the chemical analysis slide conveyed to the position facing the inlet opening and to feed the chemical analysis slide into the compartment. The chemical analysis slide which has previously been housed in the compartment is pushed and ejected out of the compartment by the chemical analysis slide which is thus fed by the slide feed-in protrusion into the compartment. |
