PURPOSE:To make a main breaker safely and quickly again even at night by closing the normal-open contact of an under voltage relay if the main breaker of a service entrance distribution panel breaks, and energizing a light emitting means with a battery and lighting up the distribution panel. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting safety device 1 is connected to the contacts 2 and 3 on the load side of the main breaker MB of the service entrance distribution panel SWBD connected to a power source PS. Moreover, a plurality (four pieces in the figure) of load lines L1-L4 are connected through load breakers B1-B4. The light emitting safety device 1 is equipped with an under voltage relay UV, normal-open contacts 4 and 5, a battery 6, and a light emitting means 7. If an over current flows to any load outside the figure and the main breaker MB opens, the normal-open contacts 4 and 5 of the undervoltage relay UV are closed, and the light emitting means 7 is lighted with the power of the battery 6, thus lighting up a distribution panel SWBD. The existence of the abnormality of the battery 6 or the light emitting means 7 are to be tested manually with a push button switch 8. Hereby, power failure of the unlighting in a basement can be prevented, and the remarking can be performed safely and quickly. |
