PURPOSE:To prevent continuous flow of a large current in a winding of a capacitor induction motor by rapidly stopping power supply in the case of a locked state in the motor. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary winding 15 of a capacitor induction motor 11 or a relay coil 17 for detecting a terminal voltage of the winding 15 is provided, for example, in a capacitor 16, and power supply to the motor 11 is stopped by a relay contact 14 if the voltage of the winding 15 becomes a predetermined value or lower. For example, when the motor 11 is locked, the voltage of the winding 15 is lowered, and when the voltage is lowered to a predetermined voltage or lower, the coil 17 detects it to operate the relay coil 14 to cut off a power source, thereby effectively preventing flow of a large current in the windings 13, 15. |
