The invention relates to an expansion joint model for a civil engineering construction, the fastening system of which combines the properties of adhesion of a resin mortar to anchoring points in the concrete flooring (decking). The joint consists of metal profiled sections (1) between which an elastomer profiled section (10) is inserted. Connectors are fastened onto the profiled section (1), which connectors consist of plates (2) and bars (3). Anchoring points (5) are sealed into the flooring, to provide additional safety for the fastening of the connectors, by means of the pieces (4) and (6). The assembly is embedded in an epoxy-pitch resin mortar having excellent properties of flexibility and adhesion to the support. This device is in particular intended for expansion joints of road bridges. <IMAGE>
