PURPOSE: To provide an actuator for a linearly moving screw as well as circulating balls that ensures a desirable precision in despite of being free of complex works and of being manufactured at an appreciably smaller cost as compared with existing actuator devices and that perfectly adapts to a wide range of applications. CONSTITUTION: This actuator comprises a female screw 1 that has a return conduit 9 for balls 7 and is closed by head walls 3 and 4. The head walls 3 and 4 internally define a passage 11 connecting the return conduit 9 and a helical groove, at which passage the female screw 1 and the head walls 3 and 4 are sintered together. |
