A device for preparing a paste mixture from dry products and water comprises a tank (1) incorporating a vertical shaft (11) and means for mixing and discharging the paste products. The tank (1) has a lower conical section (3) with an outlet orifice normally blocked by a flap (4). The shaft (11) portion extending into the conical section (3) of the tank has radial arms bearing a coil (13) shaped to match the inner wall of the said conical section (3), the said shaft (11) being driven in one direction to mix the product and in the opposite direction to discharge it.
