COMPOSITION FOR TREATING INNER SURFACE OF BOILER DRUM

PURPOSE:To obtain a composition for treating an inner surface of a boiler drum comprising one or more components which can form a firm corrosion- resistant film on that surface. CONSTITUTION:The title composition comprises at least one member selected from the group consisting of an organic polybasic acid and a salt thereof, a hydroxide of an alkali metal and hydrazine hydrate. The corrosion of a boiler body and the deposition of scale thereon can be prevented only by mixing it with boiler water in a given amount.
