PURPOSE:To know very easily a time limit of each prescribed term without any troublesome setting operation, and alter/easily the time limit already set, regarding a date display device displaying the time limit of each prescribed term and the residual number of days to the time limit and a mat with the date display device. CONSTITUTION:RAM 8 is made to store set date data, days data and days correction data, and counting of current date data, calculation of next date data including the date data, calculation of data on the residual number of days and detection of coincidence of the current date data with the next date data are executed by a control element 4 including ROM 7. A display element 2 is made to display the next date and the residual number of days for rental or the like obtained by computation of the above various data, through a decoder driver 9, while a speaker 3 informs outside of the arrival of the time limit of the rental or the like through an audio signal output element 10.
