The safety ski-binding has a sole plate attached to the ski and slewing parallel to its top surface. At the rear end of the plate is a spring-loaded holder (10) securing it in the middle position and allowing sideways deflection when a predetermined torque is exceeded. - The holder has a lever (17) swinging out of the engaged position in opposition to the spring, and which when engaged is alongside a stop (13) defining the middle position of the plate.
