The demagnetization circuit for removing the magnetic generated froma shadow mask or a frame of the cathode ray tube comprises a demagnetizing pulse generater (10) for sending a constant current to a demagnetizing coil (50) adjacent to a panel of the CRT to generate the magnetic field, a controller (30) for supplying the demagnetizing pulse generated from the generator (10) to the demagnetizing coil (50) in a constant time and a zero point detector (40) for detecting a point crossing the demagnetizing pulse generated from the generator and a zero point to interrupt the demagnetizing pulse supplied to the coil (50).
