<p>PURPOSE:To improve the performance of the system. CONSTITUTION:The data input device is equipped with a pen type pointing device part 101 and a plate type coordinate detector 104 which detects and outputs the coordinates of a contact position where the pointing device part 101 is in contact, and further equipped with a short-stroke detector 8 which detects said pointing device part 101 contacting the coordinate detector 104 within a specific time and outputs a short-stroke signal. The load on the host computer is reduced, the real-time performance is improved, and the performance of the computer system is improved.</p> |
