The device generates negative lift on the underbody of esp. Formula 1 cars. It applies the process known as 'hydrodynamic paradoxon', to the exhaust gases coming at high speed from the exhaust system of a racing car, and the completely flat underbody. The underbody is completely flat, esp. at its rear end. The rear end is not curved upwards, as in conventional racing cars, and the underbody extends to the max. permissible length. The underbody is parallel to the road surface, and as close to it as permissible.
