<p>PURPOSE:To carry out efficiently disposal of waste plastics, such as used syringes made of a synthetic resin and used synthetic-resin-made containers for pharmaceuticals, which are generated at medical facilities, and deodorize odorous gas evolved during disposal process by means of thermal decomposition at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION:Waste plastics are melted by hot air in a melting furnace 1, and at the same time, odorous gas evolved during this melting process is led into a deodorizing furnace 10, in which the odorous gas is thermally decomposed and deodorized by high thermal energy supplied from a burner 12. Moreover, the thermal energy is permitted to circulate between the deodorizing furnace 10 and the melting furnace 1, thus carrying out disposal of waste plastics with remarkably good efficiency.</p> |
