摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the balance and secure transverse rigidity of a product tire by bringing close together the cord tension of an iner ply and that of an outer ply in the primary molding of a tire of rating structure of two-ply rating of up and down type or more. CONSTITUTION:A recessed section (5) curving in the arc shape at the slightly inner side of both drum ends by the desired width in the axial direction is formed on a molding drum (1) of a tire provided with a rating structure of two-ply rating of up and down type or more in the peripheral direction, and a cord path of an inner ply (2) is set longer in the ratio of cord path of an outer ply (2').
