PURPOSE:To make a part to be sealed smaller and prevent the leakage of a liquid foaming material by a method wherein, when the internal pressure of a seal member is increased, its seal face presses a skin material being a member to be sealed. CONSTITUTION:A liquid foaming material is injected onto a skin material 32 and foamed in the state of a closed mold. A little before the foaming material reaches a mold parting face 23, compressed air or compressed liquid such as oil is sent under pressure into a seal member 28 from a fitting face 28b of the seal member through a tube 31 into which a fluid is pressed, thereby increasing the internal pressure of the seal member. Owing to the increase of the internal pressure, expansion faces 28c are extended, whereby a seal face 28a advances to press the outer peripheral edge 32a of the skin material 32, which adjoins to the seal face 28a, against the outer peripheral edge of a core material 34 and further press the outer peripheral edge 32a of the skin material and the outer peripheral edge 34a of the core material against a mold parting face of a top force 22. By this method, the outer peripheral edge 32a of the skin material 32 and the outer peripheral edge 34a of the core material are brought into close contact with each other to seal said part, thereby preventing the leakage of the foaming material through the mold parting face. |
