The apparatus buried underground for draining water, comprises a submerged pump (P); pipe type dewaterizing chamber (1) having a plurality of water passing holes (1a) on the peripheral surface; a plurality of hollow containers (2') with water passing holes (2a) for forming water keeping layer (2); filtering layer (3,3') with stones and sands for covering the containers (2'). The pump (P) is switched on/off by a float switch (F) on the water level in dewatering chamber (1).
