PURPOSE:To enable stroboscopic photography reducing blurring caused by the movements of an object and the camera and making color reproduction and exposure proper in the electronic still camera. CONSTITUTION:When the stroboscopic photography is judged according to photometric information from the object, a system microcomputer 16 changes over a switch 8 and connects the fixed color temperature set information of a stroboscopic color temperature setting circuit 10 to the control terminal of a white balance control part in a camera process circuit 4. Just before stroboscopic light emission, trigger pulses are impressed to a CCD 3 by a trigger circuit 17, and electric charge stored in the CCD 3 are ejected. Then, dimming is executed by light reflected from the object with the light emission of the stroboscopic light emission signal. Exposure time is from the impression of the trigger pulse to the generation of the next transfer pulse. |
