<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a large number of chip resistors, each having an identical shape and structure simltaneously, by cutting a board in the form of a lattice, using the center lines of the rows of holes and the intermediate lines betweenm resistors as cutting lines. CONSTITUTION:On a surface side 12 of a board 11 having a plating film 16 which is obtained by a plating treatment process, a non-plating part 8 is so bridged by a resistor 9 that both the ends of the resistor 9 are provided in a laminating way respectively on plating films 16, 16 of the peripheral parts of two holes 14, 14 which face each other with the non-plating part 8 between. The space, at which the adjacent resistors 9, 9 are placed laterally, is set so as to equalize it to be width through which the spot of the laser beam in a cutting process can be passed. The board 11 is cut in the form of a lattice, by latteral cutting lines 18 corresponding to the center lines of rows 15 of holes, and by longitudinal cutting lines 19 corresponding to the intermediate lines between the resistance 9, 9 and the lines lying along the outside of the outside resistors 9. In this manner, a large number of chip resistors 1, each having an identical shape and structure are manufacture from the board 11 of one sheet.</p> |
