Combustion chamber for gas burner in boiler - has concave mirror bottom with aluminium@ layer over it and heat insulation on underside

The combustion chamber (2) with a gas burner (1) in a boiler has a concave mirror bottom (4) under the burner, and over the burner is a heat exchanger (3). The burner is at the focus of the mirror bottom which acts as a reflector (5) on the side facing the burner. On its opposite side (7) it is clad with a layer of heat insulation (8). Over the face of the mirror, and facing the burner, is a layer of aluminium (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - Gives improved efficiency.
