Central heating boiler with groups of burners - has individual groups brought into use to suit heating load

The central heating boiler has a single burner (B1) with an output of 3 kW and groups of burners (B2,B3) with outputs of 9kW and 18kW respectively. The boiler can be operated using only the 3kW burner in order to meet the base load demand. For higher heat loads the 3kW burner (B1) can be operated with either one of the other two burners (B2,B3) or with both of them. Each burner when in use operates at its individual full load and the number of burners in operation can be varied to suit loading requirements. The thermal efficiency of the boiler is thus increased and starting losses are reduced. USE/ADVANTAGE - Central heating boiler with separately controlled burners for improved combustion efficiency.
