The electronic multiplier/divider has an additional main controller and a decimal point controller. The basic design of the decimal point and shift register controller contains only three potential storage flip-flops and only seven AND circuits, with only two inputs each. The basic design of the decimal point and shift register controller uses only six inputs apart from the reset input. One flip-flop (21) state is changed when the multiplier input is pre-driven. The states of this (21) and another (23) flip-flop are changed when the divisor input is pre-driven. The state of the remaining flip-flop (22) is changed when a decimal point is entered. USE/ADVANTAGE - For processing 5211 coded decimal numbers. Electronic multiplier-divider has improved decimal point and shift register controller.
