<p>PURPOSE:To prohibit emergency release operation in the released condition of a parking brake by providing a shift lock emergency release operating part in an operable position only when the parking brake is actuated, in an automatic transmission of an automatic car where an arrangement is made so that the shift lock may be achieved automatically when a shift lever is set in the parking range, and at the same time, the shift lock emergency release operating part is provided. CONSTITUTION:There is provided in a center console (A) a pocket part 15 where the grip 16 of a parking lever 2 is accommodated when a parking brake is released, and a key cylinder 17 for shift lock emergency release is fitted to the side face 18 of the driver's seat side of the pocket part 15.</p> |
