PURPOSE:To prevent a light propagation path from being formed at the central part of a cellulose triacetate web peeled off a cooling body even in the case where both faces of said web are dried in the production of a cellulose triacetate film. CONSTITUTION:Dope for a cellulose triacetate film is cast onto a drum 1 whose temperature is 10 deg.C or lower. Then, the dope which has gelled is peeled off the cooling body and oriented by 5-10% in a feeding direction in a region where the density of the residual solvent of the dope is 60wt.% or more. Thereafter, both faces of the oriented dope are dried by a double face drying device 4. |
