PURPOSE:To prepare a composite material roll by a simple process in low manufacturing cost by providing a surface layer of a rubber lining to the outside of a base pipe composed of a reinforcing composite material. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing fibers impregnated with a resin are wound round a core metal and unvulcanized rubber is wound round the periphery of the fiber layer and, thereafter, the whole is heated to simultaneously perform the curing of the resin of the reinforcing fiber layer and the vulcanization of the unvulcanized rubber. |
