<p>The device connects a liquid-user appliance (2) to a liquid supply network (1), and it aims to attenuate the noise in the pipework, as well as the intensity of water hammer. An electromagnetic (solenoid) valve (3) is connected to a water inlet (4) from the mains (1), and it is connected by means of a flexible supply hose (5) to the appliance (2). A flow-rate regulator (6) is arranged downstream of the valve (3) at a distance from this valve, with insertion of a length (L) of hose (5) which damps out the noise caused by cavitation phenomena in the regulator (6) and which also absorbs the shockwave emitted upon closing the valve (6).
