CONSTITUTION:In the production process of butylic ester by the reaction of propylene with carbon monoxide in the presence of palladium catalyst and alcohol, the palladium catalyst used is a palladium complex compd. expressed by the following formula. Pd(SO3Rf)(CO2R)L2, where Rf is a lower perfluoroalkyl group of 1-4 carbon number, R is a lower alkyl group of 1-4 carbon number, L is org. phosphine compd. ligand. Thereby, a novel and industrially useful palladium complex which can be used as a catalyst for the production of butylate from propylene can be obtd., and by using this complex, butylate can be efficiently produced. |
