<p>PURPOSE:To construct a hierarchical type plant management system excellent in flexibility for a system change, the extendability of the system fault resistance and maintenance property without requiring enormous development cost or the like for a long developing period. CONSTITUTION:A basic LAN 2, a cell LAN 3 and plural field LANs 4 are hierarchically formed, plural work stations 6 to 8 for a design/technical section and respective management sections such as production plan, production management, process management, plant management, and administration are connected to the basic LAN 2, at least one of plural factory automation (FA) personal computers 9 for respective plant field sections such as working, assembling and inspection and the work stations 6 to 8 is connected to the cell LAN 3, plural field LANs 4 are individually connected in respective plant field sections, and the FA personal computer 9 in each plant field section and a production control apparatus such as a programmable controller 10 are connected to each field LAN 4.</p> |
