PURPOSE:To obtain the title substance improved in activity by separation from royal jelly containing the same. CONSTITUTION:Royal jelly is put to ion exchange chromatography using DEAE to collect an active fraction, which is, in turn, put to gel permeation chromatography into three ultraviolet light absorption peak fractions A, B and C. Combination of the fraction C with the fraction A and/or B will result in producing the objective high-purity substance improved in activity. Also, heat treatment of each of the above substances will result in activity improvement. |
