摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To adjust waste liquid to the characteristic suitable for methane fermentation and to efficiently form a fermentation gas by brinding the waste liquid prior to a treatment into direct contact with carbon dioxide first then into direct contact with the fermentation gas generated by methane fermentation. CONSTITUTION:The waste liquid prior to the treatment is first brought into direct contact with the carbon dioxide or the carbon dioxide-contg. gas such as stack gas and is then brought into direct contact with the fermentation gas generated by the methane fermentation. More specifically, the waste liquid of alkaline pulp condensate is neutralized by the absorption of the carbon dioxide; in addition, the fermentation-hindering components in said waste liquid can be migrated into said gas by the methane in said gas. The prior adjustment of the waste liquid of pulp condensate to the characteristic suitable to the methane fermentation prior to the waste liquid treatment by the methane fermentation is thus made possible. As a result, the above-mentioned waste liquid treatment is executed advantageously in cost and the by-product effectively utilizable as fuel, i.e., the gaseous methane-contg. fermentation gas is efficiently formed.</p>
